Polycarbonate roofing purlin noise stop tape helps stop your clear roofing from creaking, which can be caused by changes in temperature. It gets put on the purlins (battens that run 90deg to the way the sheets run) and the polycarbonate screws go through it. It does not need to go on the rafters.
